PH PHOTO BOOKS are proud to have been serving the PHOTOGRAPHIC INDUSTRY, for over 80 YEARS
My GRAND FATHER was born in the 1910’s in SOUTH WALES, attending CARDIFF UNIVERSITY, where he qualified as a PHARMACIST. He first opened a PHARMACY which also offered PHOTOGRAPHIC SERVICES.
His passion for PHOTOGRAPHY led him to focus his BUSINESS on the sale of CAMERAS, including PHOTOGRAPHIC EQUIPMENT, as well as the developing of FILM into PHOTOGRAPHS in his shops.
‘PHAGO PHOTOGRAPHIC’ marketed the ‘PHAGO WORLD FAMOUS CHANGING BAG’ which would enable the user to remove FILM from the CAMERA without exposure to light, a ‘PORTABLE DARK ROOM’
He also sold ‘PHAGO ENLARGING LENSES’ – an extremely high quality and technically advanced range of CAMERA LENSES in a variety of different SIZES, which can still be found in use 80 years later.
My FATHER began to follow in the footsteps of my GRAND FATHER, from an early age, working for PHAGO PHOTOGRAPHIC at weekends, before studying PHOTOGRAPHY in the 1960’s.
He started his own company in the 1970’s, before launching FOTO STORE in the 1990’s, later branding as JUST WEDDING ALBUMS in the 2000’s, before retiring in 2015 after a lifetime in the industry.
Building on 80 YEARS of PASSION and EXPERIENCE in the PHOTOGRAPHIC INDUSTRY, which now spans a total of FOUR GENERATIONS of our FAMILY, I started PH PHOTO BOOKS to continue to serve the ever changing needs of the PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER to the AMATEUR PHOTOGRAPHER and EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN.
PH PHOTO BOOKS are also pleased to offer our services to a variety of BUSINESSES and ORGANISATIONS, including SCHOOLS and CLUBS. We also offer a range of PHOTO GIFTS, including a SELECTION of CLOTHING, a VARIETY of HOMEWARE, as well as a WALL ART in MANY different SIZES and CASES for TECH devices.
